#Wired magazine is reporting from reliable sources that some reshoots are being filmed for “#StarWars IX: #TheRiseOfSkywalker”. Two sources are reporting that “Black Park” in the UK has been closed off for either reshoots or pickups, with an X-wing fighter being part of the additional shots. It’s also possible that the shoot may go into September, which won’t leave a lot of time for the film’s December release.
After the new series #SwampThing premiered on May 31, 2019, streaming service #DCUniverse promptly canceled the show. While the remainder of the show’s first (and now only) season will be aired as planned, no subsequent seasons will follow.
“WarnerMedia/AT&T executives not liking the direction of the show, not budget or performance on DC Universe (which we hear is solid). One source even says an executive wanted it to be more like the CW shows.“
However, other reports are emerging that the cancellation may due to a failure to obtain millions of dollars in tax rebates from the state of North Carolina, which was where the show was being filmed.
#YouTube channel Star Wars Explained released a video on May 4, 2019 that is an exhaustive timeline of the #StarWars universe. It includes a lot of details that come from canon books, video games & TV series to create a more complete picture than what has been shown in the released movies. The video is about 42 minutes in length.
While no release date has yet been issued, a new trailer for the upcoming mobile game “#HarryPotter: Wizards Unite” has been released. The game is similar to the very popular “Pokémon Go” augmented reality (AR) mobile game and is, in fact, being developed by the same company, Niantic, along with Warner Brothers.
The game will be available on all iOS & Android devices soon.
